I started racing in-shore early in my teen years (‘420’; ‘Soling’; won the Gold medal at the Greek championship in ‘Dragon’ class when I was just 13) and off-shore already at the age of 15, when I participated in my first Aegean Rally.

And it wasn’t all by chance: my father is, among others, five (5!) times European Champion (Gold medal) in ‘Lightning’ class, while at the venerable age of 90 he is still racing, winning and teaching sailing!

A priceless memory and life experience are the nine years working as a skipper, during my University studies, when I sailed all the Greek seas, down to the Eastern Mediterranean and Cyprus, by all type of sailing boats (including ‘wrecks’!), meeting and sharing unforgettable moments with guests from Europe, the States and beyond.

During my career as an expert in international cooperation in Science and Technology, it was my turn to visit countries and discover civilizations. I had the chance to travel and to implement projects in more than 55 countries from Central Asia and China, to sub-Saharan Africa, to Arab countries, Europe and the States.

With ‘Melisandra’ I am returning to my roots: sailing, chartering, meeting people that share the same love of the sea, and possibly joining them from time to time as a skipper.

The personal touch is a must for me: talking to you, planning and dreaming along with you about your vacation, sharing my secrets and knowledge of the Greek islands and seas. At the same time being professional, as always in my life, with the sole scope of making your holidays an unforgettable success.
